The Older Drivers Forum provides practical advice on how to keep older drivers driving safely for longer. But when it comes time to retire from driving, how to develop an alternative mobility plan to maintain independence.

 

They also support families who may be concerned about an older driver.

Men's Sheds are community spaces for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of men to enjoy together.

 

They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they're fun.

The Service is free and confidential for people aged 16 and above. The aim is to connect you to local services, organisations and groups that can help improve your general wellbeing and meet your wider social need.

Fair Shares is a Gloucestershire charity that runs community timebanks which are a way for people to get involved with others in the community by sharing their time and helping each other out.

 

It’s a form of two way volunteering – give some time to help someone with something you are good at. In return someone else can help you with something you may need.
